Title: Newbie looking to join a clan to improve skills

I've been playing for a few days and have been getting killed in pretty much every game.  I suck but I'd like to improve so that I can be more competitive.  I'd like to join a clan who is willing to teach basic and advanced strategies to new players.

This is going to sound harsh but no clan really takes noobs on, especially if you have only been playing a few days. The way to get better is to practice, strategies can be learned just by playing maps quite a lot.

There were a couple "extension teams" created exclusively for this purpose, but I don't know of any clans doing this now.

no offense, but majfrogs clan is the kind of clan to not join if you want to get good. to get good, go on irc, get to know some people and play some 1v1's and see how they play. soon enough you will get into a decent clan.
