There will be 2 sides to this tournament, a Euro side and an American side. The winners of each side will eventually play for a grand prize. There will also be prizes for overall winners and runner ups.
Euro:
Date: 5th February
Time: 17:00 CET
Format: 3vs3
Max Teams: 8

Enter #unratedservers or #team_qehs in irc at 16:45 (otherwise you will be replaced). A team captain must be in the channel for the entirety of the cup.
They will be brought to a private channel and given details about the tournament.
Number of matches for each team is 3. So all places are played.
To make things easier to understand:
Lose first map-play for places 5 to 8. Lose seond match again play for 7th or 8th place. Win first, lose second, play for 3rd or 4th place. Win first, second and third match and you are the tournament winner.
Matches will be played UnRateDs match servers.
Non Euro:
Date: 4th February
Time: 18:00 EST
Format: 3vs3

Exact same rules as the Euro side, but matches will be played on Superman Match Servers.
The winners of each side of the tournament will play each other in a Grand Finale, the details of which will be decided at a later time when both teams are available and when they can agree on a date and time.
Maplist for both tournaments will be :
pbcup_sassault, pbcup_pbsanctuary, beta/zephyrus_b4, propaint1 and beta/greenhill_b1
Map picking is done by eliminating maps. That means, both teams eliminate 2 maps and play the remaining map from the mappool. A mapchange login will be given for each team captain.
Prizes :

Winners of the Euro/Non Euro sections will get a TS3 server for 3 months.

I would think that playing and having fun is the most important here... So I guess its fine..

I have no issues with roster changes, as blaa said, having fun is the most important part of this tourney.

Yep, Im quite surprised, I had figured Id have to merge the two sides together due to a lack of clans. Theres hope yet for DP2s activity! :D

I am so sorry about how badly I managed the Non EU side of the tourney. I had originally planned to have it on Sunday, but moved the non EU side back to Saturday because of Superbowl. I had a party today (Saturday), but it snowed and the buses were down, so I got back really late.
Ill check how it went now, hopefully it wasnt too bad.

I think the winner should get all of the prizes below plus the grand prize :), and the 2nd place winners and 3r place winners should still get what they were supposed to get.

Details of the final at the moment will remain undisclosed, however the map list will be the same.
Each team gets to pick one map from the map list (your map in their server) and for tie map they both get to elim 1 map out of the 3 remaining and play the 1 remaining map for tie (if a tie occurs).
I will update final standings after the tourney is complete, along with other details.

Beppo, americans played because the european teams didn't show up. (Pfft, everyone thought it'd be the NA side that fcked up...)
Also, get better internet, and your ping was 40 - you complained cause it's 30 on other servers.

So, proza told me that the date for the final match were set tomorrow but proza didnt know that most of us dont have time there.
Pm me (somebody from b) and suggest a time and date. I think on saturday or sunday we could get enought players.

Hey, I just wanted to ask what about the final? I saw juicy left [ b ] and he didnt answer to my PM after so I wondered if there is gonna be a final? Anyway I wanted to set up a date and because of different time zones its pretty hard to talk to you guys. So at first I wanted to play tomorrow at 21:00 (GMT +1) , but since non answer from juicy yet I guess it is too rush to set it now. So what about next week same time? Sunday 26.2.2012 21:00 (GMT +1)?
