Title: LOL WHAT ARE THESE TEXTURES!?

I dont have a main CPU atm, so I havent played dp for a few days, but remembered my brother has it on his insane super laptop, so I thought Id play there. I join a server to see if its laggy or anything, and change the settings, and then I see the textures.

He has played DP maybe 10 times in the last 5 years, and has not / does not know how to edit textures and settings etc. so I have no idea why it was like this - is this normal? WTF is going on, lol.

lol, how have I never noticed this!?
