Title: Problems with typing is keeping me from playing!

Whenever I try to type in Paintball 2, wither to type in my password or to communicate with other players, the "=" automatically types itself every 1/2 second. It has gotten so bad that I cannot even type my password in correctly. Please help me! I keep on getting kicked out of games because i am not properly logged in.

It might be a problem with your keyboard. If you have an extra one, try using it & if not go buy another.  :)

hit that button rapidly for 3 mins. then see what it does.

It is on my laptop and the problem is only there if i am on PB2. Everywhere else my keyboard works great.

That's pretty strange.  Sounds like it's registering the key being pressed down and repeating.  Maybe other applications are ignoring it for some reason.  You could try some other Quake2-based games such as Alien Arena or Warsow and see if they have the same issue.

Sticky keys maybe?  Hit shift 5 times really quick and see if that helps.
