Got this error while mapping. Just curious as to how to fix it as I believe it may bring up bigger problems in the end :/
Note: Brush 422 hasn't been moved/touched but this error just started to happen. I wasn't even working near it.

I guess it's the result of a bsp tool? The same happened to me with dome, but I could find and fix it easy.
It should be possible to find the mircobrushes in the 3D view. Then you can select and delete them. Try to look at the coordinates -1856 -1156 -160. It also might be possible to open the mapfile with a text editor and delete the brushes with these coordinates.

Yeah, was using the subtract tool. I'll have a look, thanks.

ewww, subtract tool. Whenever i use it, it decides to do it the most complex way ever.

Been trying it out 'cos cusomaster told me to.

May i ask for what? it just never seems to work for me. I would much rather spend 10 minutes clipping it than 30 minutes fixing it.

This is the first time I've ever got an error using it. Tbh I don't know exactly what I was doing. But I do know it wasn't that brush.

Subtract tool is bad mojo. I always avoid it.

Fkn Cusoman.

Subtract tool, hehe :P It may be helpful for new mappers to understand how the editor works and how to place brushes that you get a closed room or a hole, but after learning that you should avoid it because it can't even handle less complex brushes.
