im having a bit of trouble hosting a server, i can host fine on LAN, but nobody can see my game over the internet.
i have a router and a firewall, so there's probaly some trouble there.
soooo, im guessing i need to open some ports somewhere, or is there something else i need to do?
help!

Forward ports, use the "Search" button on these forums to dig up info on how to do it, it has already been covered many times.

ok, i tried something, go along to Shofixti map test, to see if it worked

Go to http://ipchicken.com (http://ipchicken.com), that number it shows is your IP, copy it.
go to http://dpball.com/serverlist.php (http://dpball.com/serverlist.php) and http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/serverlist.php (http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/serverlist.php)
look for it on there, if its on either, then it worked.

It's not on the list at all? Make sure you set public to 1 from the command line:
paintball2 +set public 1 +set dedicated 1 +map <mapname>

SUCCESS!
