Title: Very zoomed in, how to get back as normal?

Helllo,

I was yesterday chatting and playing ingame (with Clipz :)) and i typed that I sometimes can't see the history and that it are ^^^^^^^, I was typing it and poof my screen got black and very zoomed it.

Any help please? First of all for the zoom and if possible also help on why my history is sometimes replaced in ^^^^^^.

I think you changed your fov

-Bring up the console (button under escape)
-Type in exactly like this

fov 90

-Should be back to normal.

Also if you have a mouse-wheel use the scroll button to move up and down the console  , or i think you can use "Page Up"  "Page Down" Buttons on your keyboard.

When i played on my old PC i had a problem where the chat got stuck like that.

Doesn't work, but thanks for the fast answer. I think it's like fullscreen now on my computer, but not like before... weird.

Should I take a printscreen maybe?

A screenshot does not work. I cant see my icons below from my programs on Windows 7, my screen is full and when i click Quit it is black and my homescreen comes back. When i try to printscreen and paste in paint I get grey..

I think i did Alt + 6 (but then with the other icons button, not num pad)...

o.k. There is only one thing i can think of

Follow these steps i hope this works for you.

Close any and all Paintball 2 Applications
Go to:
C:/
Games
Paintball 2
pball
configs

Find config.cfg right click edit, or open with -> notepad
Scroll down until you find

seta vid_fullscreen "1"

And change the "1" to a "0" You can use Alt + F to find it quickly instead of scrolling through every line, its near the bottom though.

I think Alt+Enter brings you in and out of full screen, so maybe you hit that.

As for the "^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^"'s, that means you've scrolled up.  You can use the mouse wheel to scroll up and down on the console, or press ctrl+end to go to the bottom of the text (most current).

I think I did like you say jitspoe, I did Alt+Enter. Now it all works fine so enjoying this awesome game again! :)

You might have changed your FOV to something very small.
Open the console and type "fov xxx" Find the best one you like and have fun. (xxx representing numbers)
