Go download it. Its fun, fast paced and great graphics.

A couple dp players play it. But im the best :)

The jumping is sweet, but the weapons are lame.
Nexuiz (http://www.alientrap.org/nexuiz/) can get some way better gameplay.

That was my first time playing on my fresh-install on my laptop, I own so bad.

However out of all free games I play, I like ones that use the Quake 3 and Cube 2 (http://www.sauerbraten.org/) engine the best.

Post by: XtremeBain on July 04, 2006, 06:50:55 AM: I'd have to say it's a pretty great game. 60MB download, you get all the maps, a good in-game server browser, a reasonable GUI to setup all the options and controls(I still like DP's a little more), tons of EU and US-East servers(West is mostly out of luck though :(). It's a great free game with the caliber of the Quake Series, UT, Painkiller, etc. without the price tag.

And yeah, there are a lot of Warsow-like maps ported to quake3, they all look cartoon like just like in warsow too, if you run them in the Defrag mod then they can be really fun in Quake 3.

Post by: jitspoe on July 05, 2006, 11:12:47 AM: It's based off of qfusion, which is based off of q2. The graphics and movement are nice, but the weapons are way too neutered. Hopefully they'll make them more powerful in future releases. The electrobolt is the only one worth using.

Na, its q3 movement.. youve never played q2 skater. jajajas

Weaps are just too weak...too q3y. I agree with Jits on only worth using the railgun.

Graphics might be cool but graphics are for newbies :P Hence q2>all.

Not bad for a free game though..
