What about changing the old chat on this website to a new client?
Example KiwiIRC:
Direct link: https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.globalgamers.net/?&theme=cli#paintball
HTML code for embedding:
<iframe src="https://kiwiirc.com/client/irc.globalgamers.net/?nick=DPSurfer|?&theme=cli#paintball" style="border:0; width:100%; height:450px;"></iframe>

Why? Is there reason to change default IRC Client? I think it fits people needs, you can use what you want yourself, including telnet :P .
Note, due to major security holes in Java, we've removed the Java applet from our chat page and replaced it with dynamic html. If you'd still like to use it, click here, but we strongly recommend that you uninstall Java or at least disable the plugin in your browser in order to keep your computer protected!
Nah, i see jitspoe is kinda security freak. No problem, just wondering why disabling Java, but sending dplogin passwords as MD5 without salt... ;P

What does this have that the current one doesn't? I like the look of the current one better, to be honest. This appears to be the same thing with different visuals, though I didn't mess around with it that long.
