So, that is my map, it's called LiTiCia!
It actually supports 1v1, 2v2, 3v3 and 4v4 (but with limited gameplay and so on...)
It has 2 Flags in each base witch are worth 2x5 points.
Right below I attached some screens:

MatzeMR, if you're going to go for a "cave" theme with rock textures on the walls and ceilings, make sure it's well-terrained and not just 90 degree angles. If you want the 90 degree angles from wall to ceiling, I suggest you use a different texture combination.
metal_02 for the walls and metal2_5 for ceiling looks good, especially if you make those strips of light in the corners colored, corresponding to the team's color. ;)

bullexcrement, this post isn't even 24hrs old. You started that map before the competition. Threads not 24hrs old + half the time it's been up has been while europeans were sleeping. Read the rules.

I started this map 3 days ago and because omni said in one of those posts up there that we should pm him in this case i did so, so whats the problem?

Done! Also moved the new topic to the beta/in progress maps section.

I'll have a look at the map and upload it to the beta server soon.

Mapping deadline is nov 30th, map gets released completely finished less then 24hrs after mapping competition starts.... how is this considered eligible l0l. Clearly a map he's been working on and likely finished before the competition even started.

l0l i agree this map had to of been worked on for a while. If it really was made in three days the chances it has on winning is minimal either way, you should spend more time before you release maps. Who do you think you are me? I usto release maps like it was my job. Rallyr i made in one day but I've been mapping alot longer then you have.

sorry but i go to school and have a lot of time afternoons to make a map like that in 3 days. anyways the quality and detail of the map isnt really good and didnt take me a lot of time

I can't look at the map right now, but here is some feedback from the screenshots:
- 2 flags in the same room seems really pointless when they're right in line of sight from each other. Might as well have 1 flag worth 10 points. The point of having a second flag is to make it possible to grab when a player is playing super defensively. Since one person can defend both flags easily, there's really no point. It actually makes it more difficult to attack, because you have to grab 2 flags in a single room, giving a defender more chances to shoot you.
- The barrel textures are misaligned (2nd rung from the bottom should be at the bottom).
- How did all the snow get into the cave? :) Maybe you could open the top up a bit and show some night sky to make it more interesting and natural looking.
- The center path looks much shorter than the others. Not sure how it plays, but you might want to alter it so it's not a straight shot from base to base.

I would much prefer you starting a new one. This is entirely my fault, when MatzeMR messaged me I was told that the map was started 3 days before the tournament, I said I would make exceptions, and so I was asked directly to allow this map.
I should have checked what state the map was in IE. If it was an early alpha that isn't playable then I see no problem but its not I didn't realise that it was so far in development.
Again my fault I should have made sure that the map had been only started on, and should have told matze this information. The map will be withdrawn given the circumstances but note that this is nothing personal it would be unfair to some other contestants to allow this map in, I was already being lenient with the rules as it was. Again my bad, I apologise but I cannot enter this map. Again very sorry MatzeMR I should have given you more information.

Like Myers is the biggest female dog to be honest,this map is better than any of the maps i tried to make Hah. In all honesty the map actually looks good great job Man. To all you complaining female doges, you are only complaining because its better than all of your maps to be honest. But make the walls look better. And make the terrain more terrain like.

I like it, but it seems a little too easy. You can just run around all day. Maybe add a few more obstacles in the terrain. ;)

I think i wont work on this map anymore and start a new one for the contest, maybe myerz wont rage then :p
It was great fun to make this map but i think it will be the best to make a new one to make this arguing stop.

Whats the point of having 2 flags if they're so close together?

Link there is no point. It's unfortunately the new way of mapping, having ice and two flags. I've spoken with Jitspoe on this issue and it bugs him every new map has two flags and ice. If you have two flags make a purpose for them also if you use ice make it serve a purpose not just so you can fly across a map. Look at pp1 perfect 1 flag map with multiple ways to base to exploit camping. Also the Ice serves a purpose, first it counters the speed jump and second it makes it so you can switch from low to high just as quick as you can go from high to low. My advice to new mappers is to really think these things out before just adding ice and a 2nd flag.
