Title: Better Graphics Chipset Recommendation?

I'm going to buy a (relatively cheap) laptop on which I plan to play dpball on and I am considering these two:

However, the Toshiba with ATI Radeon 200m graphics chipset can only allocate a maximum of 64mb ram for video while the Acer with Intel GMA 900 can allocate up to 128mb ram for video.

I know jitspoe hates ATI (I'm using an nVidia card here on my desktop) but Intel isn't known for its integrated graphics processing either.

Which would you guys reccommend?

Luckily I'm ditching that laptop and getting a MacBook soon, so I'll be going with Intel graphics too, not really because I want to, just because the MacBook Pro is more money and doesn't come in black, so no ATI for me.  :P
Also I've had way too many bad ATI experiences, my current laptop being one of the smaller ones.

That's what vsync is for.  But, yeah, I'd stay away from ATI, especially in laptops.  I have an intel chipset in my Dell Inspiron 700m and it's... ok.  It works with Paintball2 for the most part, but the reflective water is messed up.  I'm not sure how that compares to the acer.

Thanks for the feedback.  Yeah, a lot of my friends I introduced to dp don't have video cards and just use Intel integrated video.  They get a usable, nonproblematic fps, anywhere from 30 to 100 (more or less).

I'll do a little more research on the acer before I get it.  Thanks again.

At your price range, I don't know that you'll get anything really suited for gaming.

So what would you all reccomend as a not-too-expensive-but-suited-for-gaming laptop?  Maybe an Alienware Sentia?

Alienwares are overpriced and are basically portable desktops, not laptops.
