How do you do the thing where you can say like.


GJ!!!   Like over and over again?  Like a script..  I see everyone doing it.  I was confused.

really not a good idea, but you bind it to a key. so for you in console type

bind l say Im a worthless newbie who is going to annoy people with this!

will make it say  Im a worthless newbie who is going to annoy people with this!
 when you hit L

correct.  leave the '<>' out tho ;)
also, dont "say" that, type it in the console.

Okay, I have the binds down.  But everytime I just type K, in the consol or to type it in a game, it says K.  It doesn't say what I made the bind to say.

Like I have.  bind K CAMPER ALERT

And when I just type in K afterwards, it just says K, it doesn't say CAMPER ALEART


Problem?

Well binding keys is part of the basics in this game. So it is justified to call you so.

And in fact when youre playing this game for a long time ( like dirtytaco,zoo ) those binds really start to annoy you. Im sure he didnt want to offend you personally.

It's only annoying when you spam mm1 binds like "HAHA OWNED" "IM SO GOOD" "NEWBS"

If you do team binds like "LOW" "HIGH" "INCOMING" thats fine.

go with the simple team binds, for example i only have one which is No Kills! when im about to cap or grab

You go into console. ~

Type in >    (example of what i'm doing)  bind K "Low"

Say I had that.  Then what do I do?  After I typed that in?  Like if i'm in a game, do I just like hit T then type K?

no jigsaw all you need to hit is K

hitting t makes it so you say K but just hitting k says what you binded to it
