hello
i few days ago i have played the map shaztt with a few people,
it was pretty much fun and i thought hey lets make a contest about that
so whats the contest about?
you spawn in front of a white line, you can see a white square on the wall infront of you. its a stopwatch which starts to count when you are over the white line. you have to go out to hit the white targets as quickly as possible, the clock will stop when you hit the last target. there is also a 2nd clock in the other base.
so thats it, the fastest time wins =p
settings:
- ballspeed 2660
- gravity 800
- normal dp movement [nothing else openwar :D ]
- no nades
EDIT: guntemp_inc 0
you can upload your demo here: http://bantero.us/
post your time with demo under this topic, I'll update the rankings every day.
have fun
Ranking:
1. JeongWa (12 sec)
2. prozajik (14 sec)
3. lukip (17 sec)

my time is 17 so far

you forgot to mention guntemp_inc 0, that is not default setting
Also, can anyone upload the clock texture? I seem to be missing it and there is no way of telling the time without it (well there is but too unprecise)
EDIT:OTB seems to have them, but still got the grey squares as if no texture was downloaded, even tho i have no texture missing warning.
EDIT2: NVM, exiting PB and starting it again worked
EDIT3:
15 sec
using spyder :p
http://banterous.co.uk/demo/1038 (http://banterous.co.uk/demo/1038)
14 sec with autococker
http://banterous.co.uk/demo/1039 (http://banterous.co.uk/demo/1039)
I still think its possible to get 1 less sec or even 2, lets see if someone can do that :p.
Btw this contest and any other is pretty unfair, because its first come first serve. There is room for improvement but NOT in the range of seconds usually :/. Getting one less second than 14 is still possible imo.

yes I agree, it would be great if the clock would work to thousandths exactly.
