Title: multi-account?

looking up the username of masterchief the following comes up. is that normal or is there multiple accounts for this person?

Most of those accounts were never activated (except 1?).
Even if there are people with similiar names, it doesn't mean that they belong to same person. There are people who try to impersonate some famous players.

There was a bug that allowed people to register an account with a deactivated name or something like that.  I think it's fixed now, but those old accounts are likely just different people trying to register a common name and unable to activate their accounts due to the bug.
