I just found out about this free painting program. It might be useful if you're doing digital artwork:

Played around with Krita this weekend, and I like it so far. Lots of cool brush functionality to play around with.
That pixlr web program is pretty sweet too. Very responsive. Only disadvantage is that I don't think it can do tablet pressure sensitivity (haven't investigated to be sure, though).
I tried sketching something really quickly with it. It has a pencil brush similar to Krita:

i read it's avaiable on steam...
But guess what: price there 50 $ (40 €)

Yeah, the steam version has some special features or something... you can still download the normal desktop version for free.
