I have a little problem with this stuff which I mentioned in topic.
I create evrything like it should be (func_areaportal inside func_dorr than ap i triggered by a door). But i get hall of mirror for a just a sec than door is closing! Also it just appears just from one side of room. In room closed by areaportal evrythings work fine. Any ideas?

Any idea why is this happening?

I might not be able to help you, but a mapfile would definetly help to give you some ideas...

Okey, i deal with the problem...
It's funny but slide doors aren't work properly with areaportal :O but only if they slide in X-axis. If they slide up evrything works perfectly. I desided to make func_door_rotating instead of func_door... Now evrything works perfectly, and r_speed will be lower...

That's fun. I just played zen_europaint.bsp and there is a sauna. Same think that I want to make :D With slide door! And it has working func_areportal =/ I have no idea how T_T . Anybody can tell me why the hell EVERY door I made works perfectly with AP except this stupid slide func_door?

Looks like it's simply activating the vis blocker too early. Might be a bug in the engine. I only remember the areaportal feature being used in a vertically opening door in Quake2.
