Title: MOST PLAYERS IN AN FPS GAME

Recently, Planetside 2 players have just beaten the world record of the most players in an FPS match, with 1,158 players in total.

For us, what is the world record? For me I've joined a server with 48 players.

For planetside its kind of incomparable to our servers. They have different servers running different 'parts' of the territories and don't think single server handled 1,158 players at once.

I would guess the way its meant is the peak of online players at given time. So basically if you sumed counted of players on each server in total for paintball.

PS:No idea about our top peak, but i would guess around 100 players back in days.

Theoretical max is 255 or 256 with this engine (not that that has ever been an issue).  I actually would have expected Planetside to have a larger record than that, considering the whole premise is being an MMO shooter...
