Title: SB for Android [1.1]
Post by: mRokita on February 06, 2015, 04:16:36 PM
ServerBrowser for Android [v1.1]
Why I can't upload it to Google Play?
To register a Google Play account for developers you have to pay them 12 euro with a credit card. The only problem is that i dont have a credit card yet.
Short tutorial:
-To refresh content (server info, serverlist), simply overscroll/swipe down a list.
-To cancel loading the serverlist,  simply click the back button.
-To view the DPLogin account of a player, click on his name in the playerlist
-To view a playerlist, swipe left on a cvarlist.
If you have a previous version, you have to uninstall first- the beta versions were signed with a DEBUG key.
Tested on:
Sony XPERIA Z1 Compact
Sony XPERIA Z
Samsung Galaxy S5
Samsung Galaxy Note I

Propably supported on all the devices using android 4.0+ (ice cream sandwhich).
Might work on older devices.

Great thanks to:
-JMR - for making this cute icon ^^
-The guys from the #kivy channel at irc.freenode.net

Powered using the kivy framework.

Well, this bug can wait for me :P
There're are enough reasons to release it yet. It's an early beta :).

If u will make this app able to specinvite matches in 100% functional (chat, next player cam, prev player cam, all cam angles), i would like to install it on my ipad. [if it will be updated for OS too in future]

Well, i can compile it for ios but Apple wants too much money + i don't have a credit card.
For android i would have to pay 50PLN == about 12 euro for a Google Play account for developers, but i don't have to do it since Android allows you to download apps from unofficial sources.

I've started a new github repo for this project.
I will post some more recent screenshots soon - the layout has changed a bit.
NOTICE: It's not a release - I'm publishing the code to make you able to follow it and let you know the current progress. I'll upload the .apk when it will be ready to use.

I like your icons on the bottom.

Not sure if they're from the OS as I haven't used android in quite some time.

Useless? The app won't work correctly without them :D. These are Cythoned Python scripts if i remember correctly.
The only files I've added are the .jpg's and .png's

YES if they're using the same WiFi. Even communicating through it might be possible.

Well, it would lag horribly - if you won't install GPU drivers with a 3D acceleration, you will get about 7fps.
It might be real without installing a PC linux distro, there are already apps running Q2 on android.
+It would be nearly impossible to aim since it's hard enough with a touchpad.

wit vsync i have about 40fps on Linux os on my phone ist just like vm for pc. but i think older models cant Support that because the cpu and ram arent that good. but with newer models it should be no Problem. and samsung has those opengl drivers already
