small CTF map by flow
2 flags (1 per base)
-
I'll check dat out.
-
Post pics of map :)
-
Ye, do it.
-
Some pics of the map
Pic 1 - Might wanna put some clip brushes here, (the location at where I'm standing on) I can fit in the hole and games become jittery when inside
Pic 2 - Lighting (?)
Pic 3 - Make this part slightly elevated like the other one, so players can jump faster instead of walking to the side then jumping
Overall: Nice map, I can strafe through it :)
-
Doesn't seem to be bad.
-
will this map even enter beta in the sense of: There will be improvements in acknowledgment of critism from the community?
-
Some pics:
-
Pls rename it to roll_b1.bsp.

-
But this is the only one version, so can't the name be "roll"?

If you want this to be taken seriously, you should read that and stick to it: http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=5149.0
If you don't care then you shouldn't expect people to actually look at the map and give feedback.
-
Pls rename it to roll_b1.bsp.
Done

I will test it today and might add it to my speed server.

I've added your map to the ev1 beta server so you can playtest it. I'll PM you the details.
Map overall doesn't look too bad, but there are a lot of misaligned textures. Areas like this would benefit from snapping to a 32 or 16 unit grid:

The sideways barrels should have the textures rotated and aligned. A lot of the vertical barrels are misaligned.
You might consider using sun lighting to make things look a little more defined and less uniform (if you do, be sure to take note of this: http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=27756.0).
I'm not sure on the gameplay -- the paths don't feel very balanced. It seems like the low path to barrel jump is much faster than anything else. You might consider connecting the high paths, or having a faster means to get up there.

Your map actually fits well for pgp. Ima gona use it. Thanks for the work man.
