Works on android 2.2+, tested on htc wildfire (384MB RAM, 1x 528MHz, Android 2.2) and Xperia Z1 Compact (2GB RAM, 4x2GHz, Android 4.4).

Dear tobi, it doesnt really matter. Everything you write for android should be written in Java+XML, because it is it's native language.
I recommend reading/buying Effective Java by Joshua Bloch (download here http://uet.vnu.edu.vn/~chauttm/e-books/java/Effective.Java.2nd.Edition.May.2008.3000th.Release.pdf, havent finished this one yet =D) and Ed Brunette's Hello Android for android dev (3rd edition: http://kysmykseka.net/koti/wizardry/Programming/Pragmatic%20Programmers/Hello%20Android%203rd%20Edition.pdf)
