i need help running the game over the internet i just downloaded it n cant go joinin games or come up w. servers what do i do  n also i cant save my configuration

hmmm, it should autosave the config, that's kind of weird. What version did you download?

It almost sounds like you're trying to run the game from a read-only source (like a CD or something).  There have been several reports of the serverlist not coming up (need to fix that), but I haven't heard of the config not saving yet.
