Title: Can't I do good in Public servers without getting called a hacker or cheater?

Post by: jitspoe on August 10, 2006, 02:17:05 AM: You installed the hr4 pack wrong. It's supposed to go in textures/pball/hr4, not textures/pball. You'll need to reinstall the game then reinstall the highres textures properly to get it to work.

^^Score, I was then called a hacker because I prefired around the flag corners comming from low at shaz22. :-\

I took a screenshot me being accused, but for some reason its just black. Anyone know why? Screenshot is binded to F12 just fine.

They were not calling CC MadMan a cheater. They were calling 'ifonlyyouknew' a cheater.

Why was your clan not tagged? That might have helped ease some of those complaints. You are a well known player and clan after all.

Being called a hacker is more a compliment then it is an insult. Try to have the right frame of mind and put the complaint into context. If you are not cheating, whats the big deal? It is thier bad not yours. Right?

People are going to complain or try to put others down not matter where you go, what you do or how you do it. Dirtytaco's post is a prime example.
