In matches: nobody should be idle
In pubs: its a pub, nobody needs to be too respectful, so noobs will cap on idle, no stopping them...we just gotta live with it that they aren't respectful, or get them temp-banned from the server.

Could have lagged out tinman. I don't get why you comment on matches when youve never played in one.

No SkateR, I've just never matched you. (unless for if you were under a different name) And usually for matches you try to find a server that nobody will lag out on. If they're on 56k, or have torrents going or something, and happen to lag out. Its still their own fault, they're going into a match with a computer or connection that can't really handle it.

If they freeze in midair for over 10 seconds then they shouldn't be playing in matches that aren't on lan.

First of all u shuld of had him out in to teh ob section. he was idle for liek 6 intercoursein rounds. that shuld not be aloud in a match situation or in any. you guys jsut left in the middle of the match 1 by 1. you know how rude that is. Call us noobs? we dont leave in a middle of a match jsut beacsue we're loosin. poor sports tahts all it is.

1. Don't confuse me with Tini...I'm not whoever he is, I'm assuming from his post that he's in Ij
2. I stated that IF someone is idled/lagged for 10 seconds, that's their own fault, the game shouldn't be halted or changed for their own problem.
3. Since they knew he was AFK, it was rude, but if there wasn't a match rule against it, then they're just excretory openings, not cheaters or anything.

Only thing I have against them is that they pick airtime and they say squeekers is paint magent then the next day they say he isn't. Pretty weak if they support a ban evasion cause he most likely still wallhacks.

About the match we didn't cap on idle. We grabbed and dropped flag until one of the others respawned then we capped. Smokey you can't honestly tell me you wouldn't have done the same thing.

If you are matching, and someone on a team is idle, that's tuff cookies. If he is there to match, he better be playing, or be prepared to play.

Sorry Smokey my earlier post was directed towards Hitman.
And unexpected things happen while your matching so they are prepared, something just comes up and they have to step away real fast. I know everyone here as had that happen before.

i understand it well, especially living with my parents since im 15 still. they tell me to do something and i need to walk off but having a clan like qballs that says its our own problem and then proceed to cap knowing the enemy is idle. thats just ignorance

When did QBalls ever cap on your clan when someone was idle?

Capping on an idle is like screwing a passed out chick, sure you got laid, but you didn't earn it.

In regards to QBalls capping on idles, as far as I remember, we've only capped on an idle once, atleast with me playing, and that was because we were all alive and he was in the upper spawn in midnight and the other team didnt say anything until we already capped.

Qballs has great sportsmanship so I doubt they would have done it on purpose.
And jits /join o would be useless if the round had already started and they might not think that they will be idle for long.

I might excuse 1 cap on an idle player due to a timing issue or because the opposing team didn't see anyone screaming "IDLE".
In ANY real sport, the game is halted temporarily if a player is injured. When my children played baseball and soccer, both teams dropped to one knee until the injured player was removed from the game and then a new player sub'd in.
In this game it is simply sportsman like etiquette NOT to continue capping on a player that has gone idle as his connection may have failed or something in Real Life may have needed his attention.
Have the respect and patience to wait for him to fall off or go obs then if his team has a sub, let him in, if not, that would be that team's own fault and they must continue the game 1 man short.
I don't believe it's all that complicated for a true sportsman...
