New Servers
Clan QBalls has recently put up a new set of servers, thanks to acid/vince of Valley Center
Wireless. As of right now, we have two public servers, and three match servers, with the
possibilty of more after some more load testing.
The servers are run on an AMD 3800+ and 512MB of ram with a fibre DS3 connection.
The servers are located in Valley Center, CA and on SBC Global so unfortunately there
are a few more hops then we'd like but packetloss is 0.
If anyone is in need of a match server, stop in at #qballs_pub on ETG and type !match.
Any problems or suggestions with the servers, you can contact me via this thread,
www.qballs.org, or irc at #qballs_pub.

All servers are 20 slots.
Admins are Acid and Sprinkle.

Yea, I wasn't going to open the servers up until we could do a lil more load testing, but I figured it was best to do it as soon as possible since there were bunches of people who couldnt get a match now.

Now if only SBC removed their head up their ass when it came to routing.. btw, thanks alot for the rcon/tcl help Bain. There were a few issues with the indexing of the match script that I fixed, send me a msg on irc when you get the chance and I'll tell you what they were.

I kick/banned all opers, because they have a PJIRC-client (the thing jitspoe is using for #paintball) auto-op'd to their channel.
I got an additional week for gline evasion... So, you have to wait til the 22nd :)

News to me.. ich hasnt said a word to me about anything, you're not banned from the QBalls servers.
I always miss all the fun.

He's mad cause I blacklisted him and he had rejoin on kick enabled, and he gained some strikes.

thats like, really bad. I matched once on the servers and had a constant ping of 150. I dunno why..are they in cali? Still I know people in cali that ping 110 to ch1ll not 150

Yea, its about as far west in Cali as possible. Its on SBC Global as well, which has been known to have horrible routing.
I live in ohio and have a higher ping to VCW then ch1ll, but I dont have huge packetloss/black forest on VCW like I do on ch1ll.
Guess its a give and take. If you dont like the servers, no one is forcing you to play on them.
