Im an average player, and am looking for a clan... preferably not those who match often since i might not be able to make it

No offense to DT, but that guide is pretty useless, all it tells you to do is be nice and idle in IRC and hope they will let you in...

Fear try this: be an excretory opening to people on irc AND suck at DP, then try to get into a clan.  If you're nice and/or you suck on the nuts of a clan leader you're more likley to get invited in even though you suck

But since when it not about skill?  like for my Halo 2 clan, when we we're looking for a fourth we held tryouts for the position we felt we needed(which was more of a support role at that time) after we narrowed it down to 3 we played with each of them for a week to see if we meshed together as a team.

But then again Halo is more of a strategic game IMO.
