is the map in \paintball2\pball\maps ? and is it a .bsp and not a .map?
-
I'll find out
-
i think i need to run it threw the map converter do you know how to do that
-
the map converter won't even open
-
you need to complie your map, a quick compile is enough to check out the map. If it won't compile then you have problems which you can post and someone will try to help you with. post the error message here.
read through the mapmaking tutorials here also.

Smokey: This guy is basically a Vinnie clone. Why is it that you praised Vinnie and get your panties in a wad over imalamp?
imalamp: From BSP, go to the export menu and select "qbsp vis rad". This will compile your map into something you can play in the game. When it's done, it should also start up the game with your map. If not, you don't have everything configured correctly.

Vinne was funny in a pathetic way. Fun to laugh at, that is.
