LOL. No smokey, you've never played ns, because your lame ass doesn't even have half-life to begin with. Natural Selection is so much better...Tremulous got boring so fast, whereas NS always stays interesting. Good try.

Not only is NS ugly, but wallwalking is also really messed up, and there's the whole sucky-hl1 engine...they really ruined that thing. I personally dislike NS, but have hope of NS2 being a great game.

You have to realize that Steam != Valve. If that statement were "Valve" instead of "steam", then it would be 100% true.
You don't wanna bash games that Valve didn't make though, Steam just distributes them, nothing wrong with that...although it is an extremely slow download and Steam pulls annoying people into the games.  :-\
The only hope for HL2 lies within 3rd party mods, and so far none have been good. Let's hope that NS2 and Fortress-Forever can make use of the Source engine for a real game.
