I made a nifty list of currently at least semi-active clans.  I'm sure there are more out there that I forgot or don't know about.  So add to the list.  And if anything is inaccurate, add that as well.  

Also I've noticed that pretty much no one keeps a website anymore.  I strongly suggest every clan keeps a website with an up-to-date list of members and match results.  It doesn't have to be fancy.  HTML is pretty simple and there are a lot of free or very cheap web hosts out there.  There should be no reason for not keeping a clan website.

Heres the list, complete with clan name, website, irc channel, and members.  Maybe we should include a leader/representative as well, so people know who to get in touch with.  Though that could just as easily be on the clan website!!! ;D

It would nice to add everyone to the clan list but i recently dont think it could happen or will happen just for the reason of everyone is not active enough and doesnt understand the rules and conditions of a clan....

FYI: IRC channel admins can add their clan member's names to their channel info by typing /MSG ChanServ SET MEMBERS #YourChannelHere YourAdminPassHere Then add your member's names separated by commas as I've done above.

Then when IRC users look at your channel info, they'll see whose in your clan.

We also have a CLANS (http://members.cox.net/graffiti-taggerz/clans) page on our website for those who want their CLANS listed.  Just email us the info and we'll put it up.

There is no permanent list a clan. People change clans a lot, and clans dont stay active or alive long enough to put them on a list.

That's my nephew and i've never heard of that.

I was trying to figure out just how long i've played this game.

So that puts me joining Rust on March 14, 1999. I played for a good bit on my own before that. So i'm thinking I started playing DP in '97 or '98 some time maybe? Ah well, close enough anyways.

Corrections for GT are that Sandman Jr. uses the name LeTHaL, PartyPopper is supposed to be PartyPooper and your showing Dew on Krew's list while he is actually in GT...

Good Job in creating a more completed and up to date list of clans and their members.  Though a few of the mentioned clans are inactive it never hurts to have the list.

So does this mean that I every time I post, you will complain how stupid I am? Forgive me I am confused at the clan jump bud and the mention of how much you enjoyed my posts.

Loial I luv ya man...There is not a single person in GT that I don't respect and consider my friend.
I'll be back on vent as soon as Picasso stops hatin me...we be mates Doug...please don't be hatin me :(

Seriously...the reason for going to eR33t...it goes something like this...
I sort of came back and started playing alot a while back. I played pub and was having fun. Then one day I decided, out of the frustration of non-organized public play, that I would enjoy getting on a team again.

Now my only other real clan experience at that time in DP had been under the leadership of Shreds in Rust. Rust worked and worked and worked. You hardly ever saw a Rust member in pub cause we were always in some map together learning every nook and cranny of it, as well as, learning eachother. I had asparations of trying to bring this structure into GT, but that would have been way too much time and stress for me, really.

eR33t has very close to the same "team" ethic that Rust had. They're very tight. And that's what i'm used to. It's really a triple win for me. I get to flex some rusty graphics skills, I get to continue to give to the DP community, and I get to become part of a team that most resembles what I know.

It's nothing personal or anything. I'm NOT the best player. My reflexes are average, my aim is average, my jumping sucks, my maneuvering is average. But what I feel I do have is a good brain. So in order for me to get the absolute most out of myself I really need to be in a place where thought is a huge part of the game. eR33t, I feel, is that place.

I can't thank them enough for giving me the opportunity.

I really hope GT doesn't stay pissed at me cause I love gettin on vent with you's guys.

Sorry, but I use forums at school because I have nothing better to do when my class is just meddling around in the computer lad for 80 minutes a day. And I try to use mIRC when I have a chance and I willl try to download mIRC on my profile on my school computer only so you will shut up...! :D :P

Most off the clans don't live longer than 3 months... So it just wouldn't make any sense to rank them up in a ladder, if they disappear after a few weeks.
I think that every (better) player has their own ranking in their minds, so there is no need.

Yeah, I agree with bitmate on the clans. Most clans are created and have some conflicts between members and then they split up, Im not calling team xtreme out.. but they did have conflicts, and now they are gone.. so.. just something to think about before you make a clan.. Yes, I know i made a clan [CoN] but it was going no where (mainly because the name stood for Convicts) so I brought back an older clan.. made in around late 2002 name Paint Velocity. This was back when I was a newbie and didnt know how to play. I met Herb and he and I created it. So add ^pV^ to the list. Come visit us at #Team_pV   on irc. I also changed names... i am  SysTeM-X now  for those of you who dont know.
