Title: How to get a players IP from my own server
Post by: gotmtdew on February 24, 2007, 06:10:58 PM
I have a question, running a server, how can I get someones ip address? if something was found about that person and you wanted to post the ip? I do not have an ability to scroll through the server window. I run windows xp.

Thank you for your help.

If you can't type in your server window try to recon your server (with all seeing eye or something similar).

Then type 'status' and it lists you all players with their ips.

Or you could go through the logs and look for "the_players_name connected [<ip>:<port>]"

If you have the rcon pass you can type /rcon rconpasshere status ingame, in console.

Then you'll end up banning his router/proxy. I don't  think this game would be playable through a proxy, and if you ban his router, then you should hope he doesn't know how to change his MAC address.

Use the "listuserip" command.
