Basically I would love to see some sort of Auto screen shot feature, for matches and even public servers, that get sent to some ftp server where anyone can have a look freely and not be able to edit anything.
This should make Catching hackers easy, and shut up any childish accusations.

Even so, that's where it belongs. People do actually read the feature vote thread.
Anyway: That would cause huge amounts of lag to some of our friends without high-speed internet, and you can turn cheats on and off really easily, so I don't think there would be any less accusing going on.

Actually a random ingame screenshot would stop people from hacking completly.Also the screenshot doesnt have to be high quality, just viewable. Their was a standalone anti cheat program in SOF2 that did this, causes no problems what so ever and eliminated or reduced greatly hacking in matches.

It may stop cheating (I doubt it), but it will NOT stop people accusing other people of cheating as you claim.

Obviously it will, If i wanted to accuse you of hacking id keep my mouth shut and just look at the screenshots. But yes there will always be 14 year olds whiening.

Since hacks can essentially be toggled, and the screenshot only captures one frame, a smart hacker who turns on his hack only when he needs it for a few seconds or less will not be easily caught.

Yes, I understand that they will be random, but I'm assuming only 1/2 per game (20 minutes). If, as I said, the hacker is smart and only uses his hack for short spurts of time, then there is a very small chance of him using the hack when the screenshot is taken. Also, I have a feeling people would have no problem spoofing screenshots.

How can you spoof a screenshot on a ftp server which you cannot edit, and it can be linked directly to someones login? Also If it doesnt eliminate hacking, it greatly reduces it. Id rather match a hacker who uses his hacks few times in the game rather than the whole match. More gain than loss.

Lol @ toggling. Would you risk getting caught hacking? Unless you have always been a noob and couldnt care anyless?

Sharp I think this is a really good idea, it will definitely make it harder to cheat and will help discourage it. Also I think that these random screen shots will stop people from using modified textures and other hacks.

I understand what you are saying but hopefully Jitspoe can catch the people using wall hacks, speed hacks and so on...This random screen shot will catch people with modified content, so there will be much less cheating happening within DP.

Modified content should be protected by checksums on files...
Screenshot would catch wallhacks which are usually toggled.

Hey, look at what people have done with the punkbuster screenshots. Those are experts though, I don't think there's anyone with that ability in this community. >_>

A command that server admins could type that would upload a player's ss directly to the server might be nice.

One person used a program to spoof a screenshot and then passed that program around to all is friends! Oh no'zzzz! It's Judgement Day! :P
