European servers would be nice, the likes of ch1ll ect where you can simply type !match to get a server. Maybe you can talk to OTB about it and get them to use a script to set up private servers for matches.

J0E, you should rather help make this not fail.
But I agree with jitspoe on the forums - not a good idea to split things up like that, it would be much easier if we'd keep the PBCup on a seperate board here.

Indeed Lekky, I liked the spring format more than summer`s aswell. But if more than 12 clans join up then it would mean 3 months of cup, and as this wouldnt be the most intense cup (1 match per week) then it might get boring to some.

Yes it basically is 20IDcup. Just like the first PBCup was eR33tcup. If you want to play in a season then you'll have to deal with that fact. If you want to continue playing horrible pub games and boring matches then you can resist it.

matche and scrimmages aren't boring, depends on who you match, pbcup is the same darn thing, matching and crap, just alot more pressure, and you get bragging rights 8^)

but yeah, pbcup (tournament) was fun for the time it lasted. even though the first one i participated in was a wreck

Sounds fun..... but this sounds like a winter thing to me. Some people won't want to play during the summer and miss things that are important..... but it still sounds fun! I'm not sure i will have to think about entering. Wonder what kNoC will think about it

I personally think summer's fine. A long day of playing football, lounging, swimming, doing 8-10 hours of meddling coursework a day... and in the evenings, just resting down and having a match. Works for me, (or at least it did last year). Also, ironically, summer is generally the time the community is most active. (judging by last summer)

this is good, i also have been playing battlefield 2 for CAL for multiple years since season 2, and 20id is a great clan, and at that even provided  bf2ers with a mod (from ginc) and what not. anyway good move
