when i start PB2 i get this message in the console:
ERROR: NET_SendPacket ERROR: WSAEACCES to 00000000:000000000000:27910
and then windows finds an error in paintball 2.exe and shuts down pb2
what should i do to fix this problem??
EDIT:

You had the game working before, right? Have you changed anything since the last time it worked and the first time you got the error?
-
Haha, it sounds like it's using IPX instead of TCP/IP. Not sure what would cause that, but you could try disabling the IPX in your Network Connections for the appropriate connection. I think there's a cvar for that too..

"set noipx 1". It should be set to 1 by default.
-
it says that noipx is write prohibited...
-
Put it in the config file and see what happens then.
-
u mean to write "set noipx 1" (w/o ") in the config.cfg file? it didnt help..
plz i'd appreciate a solution cos i havent played pb2 in 4 days and i'm getting all bored...
-
What did you change that made the error start happening?
-
well I had a trojan on my computer right before this happened, so....
I'm now trying to reinstall the game
-
...and it did not work
-
I'd disable IPX in your network settings. What version of windows are you using?

well if your trying to reinstall the game, is this a fresh copy?
Like when i re-do my pball folder for whatever reason, I usually backup my maps and textures and just uninstall then delete the remaining files... then reinstall the game with " paintball2_build016_full " and then update it with " paintball2_build017_update_pretest3 " and copy back your maps and textures... if you've reinstalled the game correctly, and know for certain the game is "default" and is in its original state, then id check your networking connections and as XtremeBain said disabling the IPX Protocol.

I am using Windows XP SP2 Professional
I tried to reinstall the game to both build 16 and 17 beta, neither did work

Try renaming your config.cfg file (c:\games\paintball2\pball\configs\config.cfg) and start with some fresh settings. If that doesn't do it, something is probably weird with your network configuration in windows.
