Title: How to use a sun (sky texture that lights whole map with sun)

umm...

can you tell me how, or just leave a link on a thread that tells how to please?

1. pick a sky

2. put "sky" "<skyname>" in worldspawn

3. optional: cover the top of the map with the sky texture

4. put _sun_ambient, _sun_diffuse, _sun_light, and sun_angle in worldspawn with the correct values

5. Compile and adjust values as you see fit

for the angles on the suns use the wiki page at: http://digitalpaint.planetquake.gamespy.com/testwiki1/pb2wiki.php?word=Sun+Angles

for light use 100-300 no higher only lower for moonlight.

angles are given

diffuse i use 20 or lower

ambient i use 20 or lower

Note that diffuse should be somewhere between your ambient and light values, as it blends them together.
