if only i knew how to make scripts, i would make something like autograss to make the maps more detailed, can DP use CVS?
-
they use CVS in Cube:Sauerbraten, its really, really complicated to me though
-
isnt it though? does anyone else know if this game can use CVS or not?
-
Eh, it uses CVS to store the engine source code, but I imagine you mean something else by CVS.
-
it means something like current versoin *** i forgot the rest, its used to modify the version and edit the game from text files
-
Concurrent Versions System? Yeah, it's for maintaining the source code, but you have to know how to write code in C to do anything with it. The CVS isn't necessary. It just helps keep things organized.
Edit: Split this off into its own thread since it has nothing to do with Anubis. If you want to browse the CVS, it's available here: http://paintball2.cvs.sourceforge.net/paintball2/
