ok so, if you dont know, i've been playing dpb for about 5 month's now.
So i just bought a new computer and i downloaded build 16 and everything was going as normal until i clicked on it. :(
when i clicked on it a box popped up and it said
Error during initialization.
Make sure you have an OpenGL capable video card and that the latest drivers are installed.
i know the video card isnt bad because i just bought it.
the video card is a ATI PCI EXPRESS(3GIO)
-what would be the best drivers to download?...
and where?
- i need to know
-
What Operating System Do You Have...
And Id Check ATI's webpage for the latest drivers..
http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html (http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html)
-
If the computer is brand new I would assume that he is running Windows Vista Home Premium.
I know how much you like Vista kNoC. ;)
-
yesss...im running the vista home edition..is there anyway to resolve this problem?
-
You probably need to install http://ati.amd.com/technology/windowsvista/driver.html
I don't know if you've got a 32bit or 64bit system, but you need to pick the right one.
-
also make sure the driver supports your video card, i know the new drivers for the Geforce, don't support Geforce 5200's, so i had to download and install the older "newest"
driver for it to work on my dads machine. and he was running Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate...
-
i need to know exactly what your video card is so im sure i point you in the right direction in drivers...
you tell me the video card, ill link u exactly to a driver that should work
-this is what you get for getting Vista.
-Format, and Install Windows Server 2003 R2, best OS, hands down....

freakin gross, windows 98 SE all the way baby!!! yeah!
