Ok anyone out there no what it means when i get a black box that says lots of stuff is correct then unknown gametype.

It probably means the mapper didn't properly specify a gametype in the worldspawn.  What map are you trying to load?

let me guess: jump map for the jump mod

I am trying to load the map midnight

Then perhaps you have ctfmode set to a mode that midnight doesn't support?  Can you copy/paste the exact message?
