I was going to ask about how to make ladders but a simple search yielded the topic. (http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=5439.0)
Jitspoe, you should consider stickying or combining then stickying your tutorials for new mappers.
The actual reason for this post then, is to get advice on the best way to add a 'vertical' feel to the map. I'm planning on using ladders but I would like to know how many pixels a player can walk over (not jump, just simply walk over) like in the case of stairsteps, and also how many pixels a player can jump (not those crazy awesome jumps I'm just beginning to master, but the simple jumps)
Cheers,
