Title: Need Help starting q2 paintball up

I am waiting for the release of q-balling for Quake three, and i saw this mod for quake 2, so i downloaded it.  Only, I cant figure out how to get it up and running.  I unzipped it directly into my quake 2 directory, what do I do after that?  Even the help page doesnt say anything else.  I simply don't know how to activate the mod, and there is not execute file in the mod to ge tit running.  I also downloaded the update, and one of the map packages.

You need to install GameSpy (or some kind of server browser) to find some servers -- there should be instructions on the help page as to how to do that.  These will automatically start quake2 up with the appropriate mod, depending on what's running on the server.

I would recommend downloading the all-seeing eye , it updates its self automatically and all the servers are built in, gamespy sucks!

Where do u get all seein eye I use merryspy ur right it sucks

Bad news...
if ya don't want to download a map from server every hour.... you got to download over 2 gigz of maps

I luv all those happy newbie map maker
