Title: experiencing sound problems
Post by: LAN@wasted on November 19, 2004, 05:09:47 PM
Well, I have some serious trouble with my sound in paintball. It happens that it just turns off during a game and doesnt recover until i restart my computer. Its not that all my sounds turn off, but the sounds of paintball, and it doesnt even help to just restart the game.
Im running an Nforce2-Board with onboard 5.1 sound and have installed the newest drivers. can it be a matter of incompatible drivers or do i have to look for something else?

Are you using the regular sound or the 3D sound?

im using regular sound since 3d gives me an error...

and i think the problem is an incompatibility of the drivers with the game... cuz i just installed older sound drivers and it seems to work now

This after running paintball?  Do the sounds work while you're in paintball?

My Sound DOESN'T work while in paintball plus it also doesnt work outside of paintball....
I have updated drives for my Sound Blaster 16 card but it currently doesnt work, why is this?

Is this a problem that occurs after running paintball, or is it just a windows problem in general?
