Title: Different texture on each side?
Post by: EllsinoreOutlaw on April 15, 2007, 04:28:40 PM
I like to make my map a bit detail, like some of you guys map. I was wondering how can I do this, for example.

If I have 4 side cube, and I like to have different texture on each side. How can I apply this?

Thanks

You need to select the face you want, then select the texture and hit Alt+F or go to Edit->Set Texture->Set Face Texture.

4 side cube

I'm not sure if you realize this or not, but a cube has 6 sides. :P

Also, in the 3d view, you can select a texture and ctrl+shift+rightclick to set the texture on a face.  Right click "lifts" a texture from another face as well, so once you've got your texture theme established, you don't really need to even use the texture window anymore.  You can quickly lift and set textures from the 3D window.
