Title: Quake 2 Max?

Today in pub this guy was jumping crazy, some of the most amazing double jumps I've ever seen (And I downloaded 35 of Spook's demos!)

Anyway, when someone asked in team chat he said he was using Quake 2 Max.

I tried to take a screen shot but I got "Too many files"

What is Quake 2 Max, and is it possible this guy could have been using the engine or whatever from that?

Quake 2 max is another "beefed up" quake 2 engine.  I guess he must have been using the game as a quake2 mod (sv_minclientbuild must not have been set on the server).  It has some nice effects and whatnot, but it's geared more toward standard quake2 stuff.  I don't think it has been updated in some time, though.
