Title: Name is already in use

Hey there,

I've got a problem.

I'm using my name for more than 2 years now and wanted to create an account with this name.

Problem is,that the name "Alpha" is already in use...
so what can I do?

I mean,there is no copyright on that name but i would enjoy playing with that name.

Wait for the login reset. You should be able to grab it then.

Hmm, for the first week or so after the reset, should adding additional names be locked to avoid people intentionally stealing other's names before they get a chance to register?

i think Jits will make sure no one steals names, and that we get to keep the names we are known by. I'm pretty sure i read that somewhere.

I might start dishing out (shorter) global bans for people intentionally stealing names and registering multiple accounts.

Alpha: Unfortunately you have chosen a somewhat common name.  Also, are you sure this account wasn't registered by you earlier: http://dplogin.com/index.php?action=viewmember&playerid=530 ?

As eiii said, once the database is reset, you can register your name.

Heya...

no,I'm totally sure i didn't register earlier...it's a fact that I've never been in a clan called xsv.

Have you got an idea when you will reset the database?
And,if that kid chooses "Alpha" again,do I have to choose a new one then?

Cause I haven't got the time to look into these forums to catch that name in the first 10 minutes

If worse comes to worse, you can always switch gears from Greek to Hebrew.  Aleph > Alpha.
