i have a couple questions about servers.
1. is it possible to run multiple servers off one computer?
2. is there any way i can change my ports for the game server?
3. anyway i can eliminate lag in the server?
i have one megabyte upload speed and 6 megabyte
download speed this should be plenty but still players
are getting lag. I'm thinking maybe its not
corresponding with the computer correctly i built a
good computer that can easily handle the server but
I'm having more lag then my old computer is there
anything i can do?
doubled spaced for your convienience ;D

1. Yes, on different ports
2. Yes, "+set port 666"
3. 1mb upload is better than my cable connection's upload, you should be good for a couple of slots, I dunno. The main way to loose the lag would be to get more upload.

ugh, you made it less convenient, and whats with the sentences being cut short? If that was easier on the eye the whole world would be doing it! :p

Lag could easily be because many people have hoooorible ping and are lagging your server but could also be something else discussed here http://dplogin.com/forums/index.php?topic=6531.0 related to build 18.

Apocalypse that server topic helps me with nothing but thanks 4 trying didn't resolve issue. and thanks tinman for helping with port change.

Oh well I'm not really that good with servers you should wait till Jits posts.

Home servers in general don't work very well. Do people have high pings or are they getting packet loss? If it's occasional lag spikes, try build 19.

built 19? is pretest out yet?
