Title: More then one server?

I have successfully made a server on my computer, and everyone can see it on the list. But I now want to make another server that will run at the same time.
Like a match server and a Pub server. I tried making another shortcut to paintball2 and I did the steps all over again but when I start my second server (while the first one is running) it starts then immediately shuts off. Can someone please explain how I can have 2 servers running. Thank you!

Make sure that you change the port for the second server.

Have 2 different server config files. In one have the port set to the default. In the other set it so something else. Something like this:

pubserver.cfg:

Code: [Select]

seta port 27910

matchserver.cfg

Code: [Select]

seta port 27911

form what I've seen in configs for ports I've noticed its not seta but set port 2232 or what ever port you want it to use  it might work either way but just from what i see in my configs

"set" and "seta" do almost the same thing. "seta" is more of a permanent method.

hey clone what you have to do is create a new shortcut 4 the 2nd server and a new serverconfig  for the second server y?
because in the 2nd server is going to need a different port address what you can do is copy your old config change that name of  the file change the name in the (2nd) shortcut and in your 2nd server config u will tye this set port 11325 or what ever number 4 would like keep it 4 or 5 numbers lile 2222
so it would be (seta port 2222)  you can see where to put it in the server config file...

Thanks a lot guys i figured it out. In my paintball2 shortcut for my second server I just added +set port 66116 at the end of the target. Thanks a lot for the help guys.

WOW 2 servers on one system I cant seem to get my 1 workin right.
