IP: 207.172.191.220 resolves to "207-172-191-220.c3-0.drf-ubr3.atw-drf.pa.cable.rcn.com"
Perhaps somebody could shed some light on this. The name that was registered when the modified content was detected was "quakeplayer", but when I search the console logs for that IP...

Is this some community computer, or was that just one of the many aliases of Warhead?

College campus or something similar all playing on the same server possibly ???
EDIT: Just looked through that log again and I am going to guess that at least of couple more of the players have modified content.
I noticed that Brig was in the log and that made me curious to know if this person was also using modified player skins like him.

Gotta be warhead. I banned a bunch of *.cable.rcn.com addys in the past. Shame, he was just getting off of his ban, too.

so that means brigade = warhead? and no it couldn't be a college connection because well its summer and both of them are about the same age and not old enough to be in college, plus i dont think rcn.com is used for campus connections , anywho its very obvious its a static ip too. Not to mention that as soon as ij.brigade was banned, that ij.warhead magically showed up, just my observation. =]

he was still playing while he was supposed to be banned anyways. and brigade and warhead are diff people. he may have been a ringer during a match or something.

I played wit warhead yesterday. He seemed liek a cool guy. Plus its probably a high school comp. Kids at my high school play from the school computers all the time. I Wouldn't ban warhead until theres some proof. Id be pretty angry if I were banned for someone at my high school changing something like a player skin or something.

Well yes i did have modified content on my computer, and it was detected when i switched to b18 the textures followed because i did not know you had to go into the file and delete the textures manually. I thought when you switch builds everything changes back to normal to fit the new build. After i redownloaded the game and after playing with the textures for a few days with b18 i got pissed of and just deleted everything manually and redownloaded b18 for the last time and the textures were clean and everything was legit, i have been clean since the day after i joined Ij...plus Jitspoe, if you want to check my comp please do and you will see im perfectly legit. And yes other people do use my comp, and not just me. Just scan my comp and the truth will come out that i am 100% LEGIT!

The thing is that you DID have modified content, and that's grounds to ban you. Just take the 32 days and come back when it's over.

Oh and Spook he put me on the long ban again for an accident..he put me on 129 day ban again..PLEASE JITS JUST GIVE ME A 32 DAY BAN!! IF I HAVE TO SERVE THIS!!! Plus the content was when i had b16 when i was banned and i tryed switching to b18 and they werent gone :(

Warhead: quakecon is a meeting place for quake(-mod) players, a gaming convent. what p!nk tried to tell is that you'd have to meet jitspoe to show him your paintball installation contains no modified content.

Ive been clean since i joined Ij and that when i got unbanned..so why am i banned for this crap that went down when i was banned...Makes no sense what so ever. Plus jitspoe when i was banned i got b18, might want to note that before you say i was hacking after i got unbanned. Because of course you see aliases dating back to sX and tR, so you know what that means..it was before my unbanment. Although i did evade i was clean when i was unbanned so i think that doesnt make much sense to ban someone for something that happened when ban was still in effect dont you think? Thanks

While I may not know all the details, I am clear on 4 things:
#1 - You evaded your ban.
#2 - You had modified models at some point, and they were detected.
#3 - Unless brigade was playing on your computer, you spoofed another player's name (and clan).
#4 - You registered multiple global login accounts, presumably to evade bans.
I think I was pretty generous in simply reinstating your 128 day ban instead of giving you a longer one. That's the standard for ban evasion.
Also, I got your PM on IRC -- I was away for the weekend. I'll put your suggestion up for debate in a bit. It might be a feasible idea.

Yea, and apparently JiGsaW knows me in real-life. And has been in a clan with me. He has given me a skateboard and we used to hang out all the time lmao. At least this is what people have been telling me. Considering I was never in .cF. but was in [cF], I at this point don't believe anything jigsaw says. So I'd stick to what I know from facts and do what I'd have to do.

Since this thread already got bumped, I'll go ahead and note that warhead was caught evading and his ban time has been reset. He also registered multiple login accounts (the primary one being icup, I believe). I haven't decided what to do about that yet, but there's plenty of time, seeing as it's already 4 months or so before his ban expires. I'll probably let the future committee decide.

Ok so it has come to my attention you guys are looking to reset Warhead's ban time for evasion... heres the story
I did try to get Warhead to evade his ban on numerous occasions but he wouldnt in fear that he would log in and get caught. I i-med him my brothers account info one day with no response, the Ghost account (5068? maybe i just made that up idk) but he honestly would never match with me because he wanted #team_av to become a success
Now i dont know who logged in on his computer to play, he does have siblings, i have seen pictures, but hes not a bad kid and really has been trying to abide by his ban.

Sound fair? I just think its wrong since i take partial blame for any evading u think he has done =( have a heart.
I really think the committee should take a look at this. I am even willing to take some of his 66 days left and add them to myself if thats what it takes since I think I'm at fault if he gets in more trouble. Please don't reset it though =\

He evaded a ban so awhile ago I remember jitspoe saying you didn't pay money for this game it is a privilege not a right. I could say I know knack after talking so long on the internet with him but doesn't mean I would know about his old girlfriend in 4 separate suitcases in his basement oooops going by hear-say will not work. If warhead is sincere and the committee decides to give him a chance the worse that would happen is that he proves to be a dirty very *friendly* person and ruin the online community we have with hacks. Ban continues that easy. People do love this game and I guess for stupid reasons decide to risk that by ruining other gamers experience by giving themself an advantage the normal player wouldn't have. I guess I am one to know second chances but three that just isn't in my vocabulary.

In all honesty, he really doesn't. And Hades if you look at the prior posts you'd realize he kinda got screwed over. When he got off ban he was immediately rebanned for just being stupid and not cleaning his config folder.

Well someone was playing on a server Sunday as warhead, unfortunately I don't have any screenies to show it. I believe it was either on a GT server, or EV1 server.

KnaCk lets be honest here... The kid isn't dumb enough to evade with his banned bane. Maybe a war or warh3ad but until i see a screenie i say thats nonsense. not to mention the GLS hardly works because login fails for me all the time and yet i do not get kicked. =\

If you play on a server that doesnt enforce the gls then that's why you don't get kicked.

KnacK in all honesty it happens in GTs and EV1s all the time when I double click the server on serverbrowser but thats beside the point.

EV1 and some GT do not require you to log in to play on the server. he shouldnt even open DP if he knows he is banned. there is no excuse.
