I think I'm going to put each one of these requests down as a vote for "Password reset option for global logins" in the 2007 feature vote thread.

I can't email you your password, but I can set it to something else, after which you can log in and change it to something else.

Check your email.

forgot pass, can u email to me, i don't get this that you can't email it and i dont get your method around it. log in name, "urscrewed",,, if you can't do that then delete my two logins and ill make a new one. thx

I can't email it because I don't have it.  The passwords are not stored in plain text (for security purposes).
