Hey guys there has been alot of talk about people wanting pickups so I thought I'd help .
Of course I can't do it all alone I was hoping for some people experienced with this sort of thing.
Here are the three things we need to have to start it up...
-a small URL
-a server
-a helpful staff....
-this is the last thing to be done but a list of rules
-a server config
If you can help me to reach any of these tasks please post here especially if you are experienced in organizing and want to join the staff.
Also I would like you all to help spread the word to those who don't come to the forums.

Server will be up soon once Jits is back from his trip we decided to have a small URL after all hosted by ch1ll thanks again Matze.
We have the rules and the server config completed courtesies of KiLo mostly get ready because we're going to be finished soon!

For getting a server you could just use the Graffiti Paint Match Tool (http://www.graffiti-taggerz.com/~dpaintball/index-MatchTool.shtml).
And to spread the word to people who aren't on the forums we need to get people onto IRC.
Apoc I would also be glad to help you with anything you need as well.

To be honest, I don't think that a pickup needs a webiste or a forum.
IRC should be the place to host such a thing ;)

Oh yeah I guess your right I was just thinking it would be to give people extra imformation about the pickups and also hosting it on IRC would help get more people on there.
Thanks Kilo and bit that will help there is an option to book a server and set no pass right?
Also I forgot to mention this you can also post ideas to be added on also to my plan and also the staff would mainly help me work out additions and so on and to help monitor the matches.

I don't think you know what pugbot is, it organizes pickup games so you don't have to.

I forgot we had #dppug when I PMed Apoc about getting a channel. So I think that Smokey's way is better than mine.

Alright Smokey but wouldn't pugbot I thought pugbot was a trigger that's all what all aspects would it organize? Also about the server I just relized you can't change these settings without having a higher pass then you do from those triggers and matching tools I would have to set autojoin and no team changing that way noobs wouldn't just switch to the good team and this would hold on to the "pickup" effect is there anyone here who could make me a highspeed server speciffically for this if so please PM me, email me or just post below.
