Title: Problems with logging in and resolution changes with Linux b19
Post by: ch40s on July 10, 2007, 08:37:44 PM
I'm running ubntu 7.04, and I've run into a couple problems playing DP. I can login on the startup screen no problem but as soon as the server requires auth it kicks me. Also, it doesn't save my screen resolution settings (problably can be fixed by manually editing a cfg I s'pose)

32 bit. I went into my config.cfg and manually entered my name and set it to login automatically. It works now. Thanks anyways Nate

The other question I can't help but ask: Why are you using Linux? :)

Im really just experimenting, I've heard some good things about ubuntu, and I had a Macbook Pro for a while. I'm dual booting now, and really I enjoy linux, or ubuntu specifically. Regardless, I ended up logging in just trying a few times in a row. Same thing happened to me after I loaded XP, maybe its a problem with my ISP.

What's your name set to?  You need to set your name to one you have registered to the account you're logging in with.
