so whenever i take a screen shot this happens

If your pressing F12, try pressing the PrntScrn button. It's above your Home, End, Page Up/Down, etc.
Or vice versa.
A.K.A, press F12 if your pressing prntscrn. but it looks like your doing the first.
and when you press prntscrn, you have to paste it into a program like paint.

He is hitting F12. "Wrote screenshot" gives that away. So try the Print Screen method.

Looks like a video card problem, IDK, but downloading fraps will let you take screenies and save them to your scrnshot folder in the meantime.

Btw, try changing options and resolutions and take screenshots. Do about 40 of them and when your done go back and see if any turn out.

Try messing with the screenshot settings first on Setup->Video

I had all kinds of problems when I bought a new y00tz. It would randomly delete the wrong forum posts and stuff. I think most of the kinks are worked out now, though.
On a serious note, you might want to try disabling JPEG screenshots to see if it's a problem with getting the screen data or compressing the files. You might have to download a program to view TGA files, though. Also, you can set xfire up to take screenshots, too. The default key is like scroll lock + Q, but you can set it to F12 or something else.

The thing about y00tzes is that they only learn by negative reinfocement. They do something wrong, and you hit them. Hard. That's just how they work. If you give them a cookie for doing something good, then they'll want some milk, and things just run out of control from there.

that worked i can take regular screenshots like that i just am going to have to download a program to view TGA files.

SuGaR, after I have re-read the description of your problem and considered the fact that in your screenshot it says you previously wrote one moments prior, makes it seem that you can take a screenshot fine, but then it makes your video go crazy.
Also, when you told Jitspoe the problem was fixed but you can't view TGA, it again makes it seem like you play fine, take a screeny, then the game goes crazy.
Is this the case?

Hmm sounds like you got the Reformed y00tz. Should have gotten the Orthodox....
