Title: Someone make a speedball map!

there are many maps on this game, but there arent any actual paintball fields (snakes, doritos, Xs,cans, etc.)

If someone would make a paintball field for pb2 like this i know for sure everyone would play it! thanks :)

Welcome to the boards :D  How long have you been playing?  I'm undecided as to whether or not this type of map would work.  In Paintball 2 everything is just toooo fast for small speed maps. 

Feel free to try it yourself by download BSP from the files page and start mapping.

ok sounds good, ive been playing this for a month, iw as in VQ..lol... it doesnt have to be exaclty doritos etc, but barrel laying down flat etc. And where can i find out how to make a map?

I could probably make one once I'm done my siege map my other ones are still on the drawing board and I could finish a speedball map pretty quickly so I might as well.

Is anyone going to tell this kid that it has been about 100 times, and they all suck for gameplay? Nobody should waste their time remaking a terrible gameplay design

Why is it terrible? DOesnt matter how big the map is, if performance works better in a bigger map, than make it big, if its better small then make it small. I do NOT undertsnad the whole bsp thing so someone else is gonna have to attempt it

Okay, you have to still have my pseudo-realistically-modeled speedball map, jits. Unless you cleared out your map folder or something. >_>

Drop it in your pball/maps/ folder in your paintball2 directory, then open up Paintball 2 and select it so you can play it in game.

You'd start a new game, after choosing that map.

you dont need anyone to host it... start a new game and choose that as the map.

open up the console (the key under escape) "ˇ~" - that button.
type: map <mapname>
<mapname> is the name of your map. <> are not necessary

You dont even NEED a connection to play a game there. If you're just checking out the map, you can open it with Play | start new game | pick the map
